The SilverPlatter MEDLINE database is both an essential research tool and a resource for keeping current with important clinical developments. We are committed to providing our customers with the most up-to-date MEDLINE possible, coupled with our rich offering of features and integration.  We would like to take this opportunity to outline Ovid’s plans and timetables for the upcoming 2002 Global Medline Reload.

Anticipated Timetable

The first update of MEDLINE 2002 (the Pre-Reload Update) will be made available to online customers within 2 weeks of receiving the data from NLM, and to local customers shortly thereafter.  Given the National Library of Medicine’s delay in releasing MEDLINE data to all MEDLINE providers (a delay of approximately one month), we anticipate that Ovid’s Pre-Reload Update will be in place by early February, while the complete reload is expected by early March.
