    Authentication options

    IP Filtering
IP Filtering allows a user to connect to WebSPIRS without entering the username and
password. The user must have a known IP address. This will enable a user to input the URL
and arrive at the database selection screen instead of a login screen. WebSPIRS 5
remote/off-site users can use the same URL and they will be prompted for a username and
    password.

    Referring Page
WebSPIRS 5 supports the referring page authentication. Subscribers must provide secure
URL(s) from which users will be coming. As long as users come from the designated URL(s),
they will be automatically logged into WebSPIRS.

    Database selection options

    Database specific URL(Jumpstarting)
We can provide URLs that will bypass the database selection screen and display the search
page with a specific database family ready for searching. Ex:
    http://webbeta.silverplatter.com/webspirs/start.ws?customer=c1234&databases=S(MEDS)
