Over 33 Million Links Now Available

NEW YORK, NY, September 19th, 2002 - Ovid Technologies, Inc. announces today that it now provides more extensive linking capabilities than any other online scientific information provider. The recent implementation of robust linking between dozens of Ovid bibliographic databases and Ovid's full text journal products, Journals@Ovid and Kluwer Journals, brings the number of links in the Ovid solution to over 33 million. For a number of years Ovid users have been able to link from databases such as MEDLINE®, CINAHL®, BIOSIS Previews®, PsycINFO® and Current Contents®. Now Ovid customers can link from additional key databases, including PreMEDLINE®, Embase®, INSPEC and CAB Abstracts, directly to thousands of well known journals covering the scientific, technical and medical fields.

Ovid's linking technology allows users to start a search in a number of key databases, follow links directly to full text articles under the same search interface, then follow links in the references of those articles to other full text articles or back to bibliographic citations - a true research tool that answers their questions quickly and easily.
