McGraw-Hill, the publisher of the world-renowned Harrison’s Principles of Internal Medicine has licensed 110 new titles to Ovid.  With this new contract OVID now has over 275 titles under license – Books@Ovid is far and away the largest online clinical library in the world.

These newly licensed titles cover a wide range of medical specialties and subspecialties as well as basic sciences like microbiology and biochemistry.  In addition to Harrison’s some of the other well known titles are:

Tintinalli, Emergency Medicine - A Comprehensive Study Guide, 5th ed., 2001

Fuster: Hurst's The Heart, 10th ed., 2001

Freedberg: Fitzpatrick's Dermatology in General Medicine, 5th ed., 1999

Victor, Maurice: Adams & Victor's Principles of Neurology, 7th ed., 2001

Simon, Roger: Clinical Neurology, 4th ed., 1999

The first titles (Harrison’s and Tintinalli) are expected to go live by July.
